Prophet Dion E. Brown, Assistant Pastor
Prophet Dion Brown is the natural son of Prophetess. Alucia Walton and Rev. Anthony M. Brown, Sr. and He is a 2010 graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School and will be attending Savannah State University in the near future. Prophet Brown was called by God as a “Prophet” from his mother’s womb as the word was spoken over him before he was born. He is a seer as well as a prophet and operates in the Office of a Psalmist, Prophet and preacher. Prophet Dion also plays three instruments: drums, flute and keyboards. Prophet Dion Brown is a member In His Presence International Prayer Tower and Empowerment Ministries where his mother, Prophetess Dr. Alucia Walton is the Founder and Pastor. He serves as Praise & Worship Leader, Choir, Music Ministry Staff and Assistant Pastor. He also serves at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church as a Choir Director, Lead Vocalist and Drummer
Prophet Dion Brown started talking before the age of one and was trained in music and to sing by the age of two. He also started preaching at the age of two and during this time he once anointed his mother with oil and laid hands on her and said “Jesus,” when she suddenly became ill one night and she was instantly healed. Dion received further musical training from his mother and from his yearly attendance at the Georgia Music Educators Association In-service Conference. He has also participated in school choruses’ from the age of 5, when he was featured soloist for the Butler Elementary School Chorus when he was only in kindergarten. He sang ‘ Who Would Imagine A King from the “Preacher’s Wife.” He also sang solos in adult church choirs and with his mother’s middle and elementary school choruses. Dion has participated in the BRAVO (Black Youth Reaching to Achieve in Vocal and Orchestral Music) Summer Music Camp for over 10 years and was nominated for Governor’s Honor in Vocal Music in 2007. He has appeared as a soloist and member of several choir and ensembles in the Savannah, Atlanta, Florida, Delaware and Virginia.
Prophet Dion Brown was ordained as a Minister in 2008 under Disciples of Christ International Ministries, Apostle Darrell and Prophetess Tonia Brooks, Pastors, whom he served as Armor Bearer for over five years. He was elevated to the Office of Prophet in 2011 and has ministered prophetically in song and preached in Savannah, Virginia, North Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.
